Most of the RPs I've been in feature some kind of chronological list of events, but as an admin elsewhere, I've found that letting players keep track of these events through a calendar is incredibly useful. It usually isn't the default Proboards calendar that keeps track of birthdays, but it can be that or it's own thread with a table layout. In either case, a member would simply attach a date and (if needed) a time to a post when starting a new thread, and a mod or admin would add the thread title to the particular day on the calendar.
Being so used to this kind of timeline, I was surprised that it hasn't been implemented here. I think it could make it easier on everyone's heads (particularly those of us that have the memory of a goldfish) to be able to know exactly what happened when. If this has already been discussed somewhere... well, feel free to slap me for it.

I think you're *very* correct. With a liquid timeline having a calendar makes perfect sense, and I was even thinking about doing it. The only reason I decided not to was because my character is gonna travel across the entire country, and figuring out which dates to put on which threads, depending on where she was at the time, made my head explode. I do, however, think that you should do it if you like, and if you'd like to put it in a chronological list somewhere I suggest making it a post in your character diary until we know enough people want to do it so we can make a separate board for it.
One day, if I have the patience, I will definitely be doing it!
