Crater lake is 5 by 6 miles Its maximum depthis 1,949 feet, but fluctuates slightly as the weather changes. Crater Lake is the deepest lake in the United States, well known for it's deep blue water, and cool air from the surround mountain ranges. The tourist attraction is now a desolate location.

A private beach with a cove that can be entered during low tide. Along the far rocks yellow dandilion-like flowers have bloomed. Nothing to be found here except for some broken seashells and washed up remains of anything that the sea spits back up.

1,381 miles long, begins at the Canadian border in Blaine, WA and ends in San Diego CA at the Mexican Border. Of course due to the panic in the beginning of the outbreaks, the highway may have traffic jams of empty cars every other off ramp, but you may have to take an early exit and get back on a little later.

All along the west coast are acres and acres of forests, its easy to get lost in them, if you're not marking your way out. The forests are silent now, wildlife is scarce, on a lucky day you may find a bird or a rabbit, but for the most part it appears that all wild animals have ran off, just like the survivors are doing.

50 miles from Portland, this dormant volcano sleeps through the virus, and at it's snowy peaks survivors are seeking an escape from the infection.

Once home to 18 million people, and with only a dwindling 3% immune, that leaves a lot of infected residents remaining.

The City of Sin, famous for the saying What Happens in Vegas, Stays in Vegas, this will hold true as long as the infected find a satisfyingly amount of sustenance, once they run out they will begin wondering for what else is out there. Survivors may make the mistake of flocking to this city to collect winnings that are not their own, in hopes that the dollar will see value once again.

The Grand Canyon is 277 miles long, up to 18 mile wide, and the canyon is a mile deep. A good place to dump a corpse to make sure it wont be getting back up. At one time families would drive here to take pictures, now it has become a sort of sick burial dumping ground.

Midday temperatures range from 100 degrees F to 120, year long. Receiving less than 13 inches of rain a year, the Mojave Desert is one of the deadliest deserts to cross without the proper luxuries, a full tank of gas, AC and lots of water. Even though the desert may make the most sense to travel through in a time of the walking dead, there are still the old fashioned dangers to look out for.

The Rockies stretch from British Columbia, all the way to Mexico, quite a challenge to cross if you aren't taking the highways, which may be a struggle to get through with the evacuations and blockades.

Detroit has had seen a significant reduction in crime since the 1970s. This city had the sixth highest rate of violent crime, however it is more dangerous now than ever.

Kansas City is the largest city in Missouri and is the anchor city of the Kansas City Metropolitan Area.

Milwaukee is located on the western shores of Lake Michigan, about 90 miles north of Chicago. It is the largest city in Wisconsin and was known primarily for its breweries and being a modern industrial metropolis. The usual smell of malt has been replaced by the rotting stench of corpses.

Nicknamed as the City of Lakes, and the Mill City, this home to nearly 400 thousand people has been nearly wiped clear of all human life. A guarantee for some nonperishable goods, but at what cost?

Norman is the third largest city in Oklahoma, a pleasant place to raise a family with the good old fashioned values. 50,000 people of the population were made up of students. It was a shamed when they proved no more immune than their elders.

Oklahoma City featured one of the largest livestock markets in the world, along with Oil, natural gas and petroleum boosted the local economy once too. Home to 1.3 million people the infection turned this urbanized farming community inside out.

This long stretch of road will get you from the western end of North Dakota all the way into Wisconsin. Additionally, there's countless ponds and lakes right along the interstate, not to mention the occasional corn or bean farm. But be warned, this resourceful highway also runs right through some of the largest towns and cities in the Midwest, which means it is almost certainly the highway people used when travelling during the outbreak.

A city once of 49 thousand people this eastern city now remains a ghost town of its former glory. A proud community, now turning into rubble in the chaos caused by the outbreak.

Land that was fought to keep in families finally have been returned to the earth, since most owners have passed and have no interest in the harvests.

This enormous wetland in the southern part of Florida is also the third largest national park in the continental United States.

A small creek that flows from Atlanta to Savannah, once wildlife rangers would go through quite a bit of trouble to keep the PH balanced, now no one is left to care.

New York was the most populated city in the US, it rested on one of the worlds largest natural harbors. Often referred to as the City that Never Sleeps, with this many infected wandering, it would be hard to even catch nap.

America's capital, and where many think they will find the answers to what is happening. But the truth it, DC is just as dead as the rest of the country, and very few people left here, immune, have a title you're looking for, and no one has answers.

Acadia National Park in Maine features the tallest mountain on the East Coast, and once had many different animal species roaming the park, but still a beautiful scenery.
