NICK NAMES: Lily, Lil, Gordy, Gordon
PREFERRED NAME: Lily
AGE: 18
GENDER: female
OCCUPATION: nursing student
HOME REGION: Southwest
PREFERRED WEAPONS: shotgun, hand gun, baseball bat
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Lily has large hazel eyes and dark brown hair. She is round faced, with high cheek bones and an thin nose. Generally, Lily wore lots of make up before, but since the series of events, she's had to go without. She manages to curl her lashes, though, since she saved a eyelash curler, which is one of her favorite things since it's a bit from the world before. Normally, Lily has her hair up in a bung to make it harder to grab, and she tends to wear earth-toned clothes so she isn't so obvious to the undead.
At one time, her go-to shoes were uggs and tennis shoes, although now she wears hiking boots. Lily usually wears jean capris, because of the weather. Usually she has a towel hanging out of her back belt loop, since she's figured out how useful a towel is. Her one jacket is a leather aviator, and she almost always has it on, as well as her leather bracelets.
Although Lily has few blemishes on her faces, a few freckles on her arms, she has many scars and scrapes on her legs. Most of Lily's childhood, she was a tomboy and spent most of her time outside. Lily was also active in softball, and she had plenty of scars from sliding to home base. She has two tattoos; a fish tattoo on her left side and the name Patrick tattooed on her right hip.
PERSONALITY: Lily is the sort of girl people want to be friends with. Sarcastic, sweet, and silly, Lily is usually talking to people and trying to make them laugh. On the outside, she looks like a classic girly girl, but on the inside she is a tomboy through and through. Lily is a baseball fan, a daddy's girl when she was little, and knows all the stats. She tends to use this as leverage when talking to boys. Lily is a huge flirt, and is usually popular among guys because of her laid back attitude and distaste for serious relationships.
When it comes to friends, Lily tries to befriend everyone, not really preferring boys to girls when it comes to companions. She knows just how to talk to people in order to make them feel comfortable, so she can talk to most anyone of any age group. She does have trouble maintaining friends since she is usually out for herself. She would gladly dump a friend if it meant that she could move up the social ladder or get a boy to like her. Lily has never followed the golden rule of never dating a friend's ex. She has never had a best friend because of this; mostly just friends that last about a month before she trades in.
Mentally, Lily is a princess. She believes she knows what's best for everyone, and hard headed enough to not change her opinion on it. When she's working with others, she wants to call the shots. Always the team captain on her softball teams, Lily is actually a good leader, although she hates being questioned on her decisions. She doesn't mind being the bad guy if she has to, so long as she is able to go through with plans she thinks are right. Lily doesn't mind getting her hands dirty when she has to, so long as it's something she wants to do and is something she agrees with.

HISTORY BEFORE: Born in Houston, Texas, Lily was the baby girl of the family. She had three older brothers; Rodger, Blake, and Sam. Although they were insanely protective of her, the three were always messing with their little sister. Lily's mother died shortly after Lily was born, and her father was left to raise her, along with her brothers, on his own. Of course, he did the best he could, but had no idea how to raise a daughter. In the end, Lily ended up a tomboy, interested in sports and hunting just like her dad. Lily was six years old when her dad took her hunting with her brothers. When she first held the shot gun, she wasn't even able to hold the butt against her shoulder. Her father made an effort to give the family some traditions, and a hunting trip quickly became one of them. They went twice a year during the summer, and Lily soon discovered a talent in it.
Despite being brought up like a boy, Lily discovered a deep love of flirting with boys early on. In kindergarten, Lily got in trouble for kissing a boy during nap time. The teacher told her father that she was worried that Lily was developing an interest in boys early, but her father brushed it off. Lily was seven when she got her first boyfriend. Rodger beat the kid up until he broke up with Lily. This became the trend with Lily's boyfriends; her brothers threatening to kill them if they did anything to or with her. Lily's brothers ended up being like three dads to her, since she was the baby and the only girl. Seven was also the age that they convinced her to do softball. It became her favorite sport, and Saturday mornings were soon devoted to games and practices. Her brothers were avid baseball players, and Lily grew up watching them play, sitting in the bleachers with her dad.
By the time Lily entered middle school, the girl pretty much knew exactly what she was about. That was, until she started making a core group of friends. In their giant middle school, Lily became the leader of a small squad of mean girls. In elementary school she had had a few friends, but none that ever stuck. She wasn't so concerned with making friends, although she got along well with boys because of her passion for sports. Once in middle school, though, she started to get followed around by two other girls; Megan and Ashley. Lily was stubborn and said what was on her mind, meaning that she would put down any girl who was in her way. Of course, that also meant she got her pick of the boys. She was twelve when she got her first real kiss, and she made sure her brothers didn't find out.
Towards the end of middle school, Lily ditched Ashley and Megan, saying they were shallow yes-men who needed to get their own lives. She went into high school friendless, on her own terms, and quickly made the softball team. Lily was the only freshman to make varsity, earning her some attention from the upperclassmen. Invited to senior parties her freshman year, Lily gained a reputation as an easy target for the older boys. Of course, at this time, she was sharing high school with Blake and Sam. Blake was the one hear about Lily sleeping with a football player named Sean. Unfortunately, he heard about it during school, the night after a wild party he had accompanied Lily to. Blake started a fight with Sean, and the two boys were both suspended. Her father understood the situation, and Blake spent the suspension playing video games in his room while Lily was given extra chores as a punishment for causing the whole thing.
It didn't stop her though. Lily kept her reputation, constantly trying to keep her brothers out of the loop. Her sophomore year, Blake was finally in college, leaving her with Sam, now a senior himself. The boy was especially close with Lily since they were the closest in age. Sophomore year, Lily kept her reputation up, although she made a few friends this year from her softball team, who were actually her age. They tried to get her to quit her life style, but she refused, still sleeping around and drinking heavily. It was towards the end of sophomore year that Lily found out that she was pregnant. The girl was terrified, unsure of what to do. She knew she couldn't tell her dad, and since she was only fifteen, she wasn't old enough to get an abortion on her own. Lily stopped eating, picked up smoking, and caused her father concern in that way. She was only two months into her pregnancy when she miscarried, although she had trouble explaining the bloody sheets to her dad.
Her junior year, Lily stayed under the radar for once, focusing more on her grades instead of partying. It was then that she met Patrick, who was a football player. He wasn't interested in just getting into her bed, though, and the two quickly hit it off. They dated all through junior year and senior year, winning prom king and queen. Patrick got a football scholarship to University of Texas, and Lily was planning to go in as a nursing student. It was the day that they got their acceptance letters that Lily found out that she was pregnant again.
DURING APOCALYPSE: Lily was in class when there was suddenly mass chaos in the hallways. The teach stopped the lecture to question someone in the hall when, suddenly, several students in the class fell down in what seemed to be some kind of seizure or something. They didn't know that those students were going to come back as creatures that wanted to eat the flesh off of them. Lily, at this time, was about two months pregnant, and nobody knew about her condition. The girl was out of the room in an instant, her athletic build coming in handy. There wasn’t time to grab much from her locker with the mass hysteria going on. She grabbed her backpack, her cellphone, and her metal baseball bat, and ran from the room in search for Patrick.
Lily used the baseball bat against anything that got in her way, and that may have included a few live people in order to get to Patrick’s class room. He was there, but he wasn’t alive. Just as he was about to take a chomp out of her, Lily whacked him in the head. She was sobbing as she did it, but she knew it had to be done. After that, she knew she had to find her family. The cellphone lines were jamming as people tried to get ahold of her loved ones, and Lily ended up having to hitch a ride with a few guys from the football team who knew her and Patrick. They were driving on the road when Lily made the pull over. The girl caught sight of a zombie that looked identical to Rodger, who had started working close by in order to keep an eye on his sister. She couldn’t kill him and one of her fellow survivors had to do so. The sight of it made Lily throw up, but she knew she had to continue on. If nothing else, to let her dad know that she was still alive. Finally, Lily got through to her house, but it wasn’t her dad who picked up. It was Sam, who had made it to the house before her. He explained that he found their dad’s body with a couple of rounds in it, and a broken window. Apparently someone had tried to loot the house. Lily told Sam that she would be there in a little bit and to try to get ahold of Blake.
Unfortunately, their dad wasn’t completely dead. When Lily arrived to the house, the place was trashed, and blood was everywhere. At first, the girl wasn’t sure what had happened. Then, she saw the two zombies that were once her brother and father. Lily ran from the house. Luckily, the two football players were still there, waiting to make sure she would be safe in her home. The trio drove off, but Lily left her cellphone in the house. Unsure whether her last brother was still alive or not, Lily stayed with the other two boys until the car ran out of gas. Apparently, gas stations had stopped giving out gas; either hoarding it or using it as an explosive against the monsters. One of the football players killed himself after the third day. They had found a gun on a dead body, and the first thing the kid did was put a bullet in his brain. The other was attacked and bitten. He asked that Lily leave him, knowing that he would turn eventually. On her own, Lily was able to find a group of survivors, and with her skills she was able to convince them to let her stay. She keeps her pregnancy a secret, though, not wanting anyone to know that in just a few months she would be a hassle and in even more, there would be another mouth to feed.
ROLEPLAY EXAMPLE:Lily took a deep breath as she awoke from a restless sleep. She couldn’t stop staring at the sky. It was barely dawn, and there were still a few stars making their presence known in the twilight. For a minute, Lily was transported back to a time when her family used to take hunting trips. They would sleep under the stars and drink soda. Once they had shot a deer, and Lily had asked if it had felt anything when it had died. Her dad told her that the death was just a part of life, and the deer was in a better place now; the same place that her mother was. The thought made Lily cringe now. Apparently, that wasn’t the circle of life any more. Not with the dead up and walking. Apparently, the dead could get up and walk around and eat people. Her father had never warned her of that.
The girl sat up, her back aching with the wonders of pregnancy. At least the morning sickness hadn’t gotten ahold of her just yet. Of course, it would likely hit when there were people around and she would have to make some excuse like she had eaten a rancid squirrel or something. People would get suspicious soon enough though, and that thought haunted her every day. Lily pulled her hair up and secured it with a hair band that she almost always wore on her. She had pulled it off a body a while back, and since it wasn’t like there were rubber bands just hanging around doorknobs anymore, she was going to take what she could get. The brunette finally got up, and stretched a little, her clothes dusty from the sleep. Lily brushed herself off the best she could, but it wasn’t like she had an endless supply of clothes just hanging around.
Anyways, she had work to do. A few people had gone out hunting and one of them got shot by another group of survivors. Confusing someone for a zombie was stupidly common occurrence, and it meant she would have a bullet hole to stitch up. The last thing they needed was a hoard of zombies to approach them because of the blood. Her body ached from the poor sleeping conditions and the obvious, but she ignored it. At least she was alive and had some use to her. It was better than nothing, and it meant that she had to keep on moving, whether she wanted to or not.
PLANS: Lily obviously is going to have some trouble keeping her pregnancy a secretly. I imagine she is going to run into some trouble with any group leaders since she is a head strong girl herself. She is also on a quest to see if her brother, Blake, is still alive. Perhaps she finds him as a zombie and has to kill him herself, or maybe she finds him still alive and has to confess that he’s about to be an uncle. On top of that, Lily is a flirt who doesn’t mind stealing boyfriends. I could see her being a problem to girls and maybe to already established relationships. Although, I imagine that the whole pregnancy thing would be a turn off. As well as being a good shot and killer swinger, Lily knows a lot about first aid since she was a nursing student before the zombie thing. She would be good at fixing people up and making little supplies work.
