The biggest NPC, non-playable character, are the infected, or out of character, Zombies.
These zombies are not the classic slow kind, but not the deadly kind from 28 days later, they are a cross, because if they were the kind from 28 days later... most of our characters would not survive for long.
They have the ability to run, but not the ability to climb, they can do stairs, but not ladders, scale buildings, climb mountains/cliffs etc.
If you allow a zombie to scratch you (while playing one in your post) you will become infected and die. If they bite you/ if you get blood in you eye, mouth, open cut etc, you will also die and turn
