PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Alice is the kind of woman who you want to look at, if not because of her good looks, then because of how she is unusual. Alice has long black hair that she keeps tied back in a braided ponytail. She prefers clothes that are blue, and will always pick them if she can.
Alice always makes sure that her arms are covered at all times she is around others., going so far as to go wrap white bandages around her forearms and hands. She does this because she hates the scars that cover the limbs, the scars have a variety of sources, some are cut marks, some are small burns and there are a small patch of needle marks as well.
Alice has two tattoos. One is a pale blue line that runs from the bottom of her left eye down to her jaw line in a style that is supposed to represent tear marks. The other is on her back, at the top of her spine between her shoulder blades, and is of a green eye, weeping a drop of blood.
Alice is talented at acting, so she will move, stand and speak in whatever way she thinks will benefit her the most in any situation. Whether that be clinging onto a man’s arm to make him feel protective of her, or firm and dominant to demand what she wants. When she is not acting however, Alice moves in faintly off ways, lingering over sights of blood or carnage and occasionally mumbling nonsense to herself. Alice has a tendency to start giggling when happy and has a hard time stopping herself, even if she has been putting on an act of being terrified or depressed.
PERSONALITY: Alice is not a nice person. She is the exact opposite of nice in fact. Alice is cruel, violent, and bloodthirsty. She is a determined masochist, enjoying pain immensely, both causing and receiving pain makes her happy and excited as long as she is in control of it when it happens. Alice is completely and utterly insane, with more then one extreme mental illness to her name. she is a sociopath, lacking empathy for others. She is aware of others pain, emotions and existence, unlike some with the condition, however she just doesn’t care that the people she hurts do indeed feel pain, in fact it makes it more enjoyable for her.
Alice has a complete inability to care about other people, or form strong positive bonds towards others in any way. If she does make a friend, she will not be affected by their pain or death beyond what it means for her.
Alice is very manipulative, always trying to talk people into doing as she wants. She often goes to a lot of trouble to be nice to people and help them, just so she can have them trust her/owe her in some way.
Alice is a broken girl, she has never had someone that truly loves or cares about her and is desperate for someone to simply treat her well, her insanity makes it hard for her to do something like keep a friend. But deep down behind her love of violence, torture and pain, she is crying out to just be loved.
Alice is a delusional schizophrenic. She has headaches, sudden spasms in her body, delusions and hears voices in her head. Due to the time she has spent in the “order of Yian” she has come to believe that the voices she hears are the words of her Goddess Yian speaking through her. It is of cause her own splintered minds insane ramblings and holds no meaning, importance or truth. There is no goddess and no part of her cults teaching is in any way true or factual. However Alice believes every single part of it as much as she believes in anything else, and will follow the voices with glee.
Alice is terrified of water, to the point she has to take showers instead of baths, and will go into a panic if ever completely submerged in water, or finds herself over water, for instance on a boat. She will not go near rivers or oceans and when it rains heavily, she is that extra bit more on edge and unhinged.

HISTORY BEFORE: Alice never got a real chance in life, before she was born everyone who knew her parents pitied the unborn child for how she would be raised. Her Father was almost certainly not her father. but rather the man who lived in the home she grew up in. you see her Mother was a prostitute, one married to a small time drug dealer who never got himself anywhere in life. They were both selfish, hate filled people. Angry at the world for where their lives had ended up while never thinking to blame themselves for the fact they had never once tried to be something other than this. Alice was born, and instead of parents. She got two people who more or less kept her alive. They fed her, they clothed her and such, but they never held her, or read to her. They smacked her when she made noise and ignored her when she was quiet.
They never seriously started to hurt her until she was a year into school. Not knowing any better, Alice happily explained to the teachers what her Father sold. Her father was soon arrested, and sentenced to seven years in prison. Her Mother was furious. And that was when the abuse became even worse. Her mother would cut her arms with razors, put cigarettes out on her arms and constantly verbally abused her. Alice had it drilled into her that she was never allowed to talk to anyone about what happened or she was going to die. Alice became more and more withdrawn from the world and was left completely friendless and with no one to go to. It was around then that the pain and isolation started to form in the back of her mind in a dull murmuring. Nothing legible and never mentioned by her to anyone. She would randomly get headaches however, and those she complained about only to be shut up by painkillers.
And then when she was fifteen, her Father was released from prison. And that was when things went from bad to worse. It was a month later, on her sixteenth birthday, that they took Alice out to a lake and tried to drown her. Luckily a group of young men had been walking past and saved her from her parents, but not before she had already slipped into unconsciousness. Alice was in a comma for three months, and when she woke up. The dull murmuring was now whispers, ones that told her things, chanted in the back of her mind and told her what to do. The Doctors told her that her parents had already been sent to prison for what may well be the rest of their lives, especially when the hospital had discovered all the scars that she possessed.
Alice was sent to an orphanage, given psychiatric help, even managing to make friends. But the voices wouldn’t go away and had long ago convinced her that she shouldn’t be taking the pills that her therapist was giving her. And really, Alice’s mental illness was getting worse. Eventually at seventeen she left the orphanage and ended up as a waitress in a coffee shop. A man named Harold, who was a good ten years older than her would come into the shop every day, and was always extremely nice to her. Eventually he managed to get her to come to his “church” a cult he had started and used to sucker the easily used and vulnerable into doing as he wanted. He had based the cult around the idea that there was a Goddess named Yain, who had long ago been trapped when a terrible demon had formed the world around her, leaving her trapped at the centre of the earth. And Harold thought that he had “heard” Yain tell him that if the majority of humanity worshiped her, she would be strong enough to break free and take them all to utopia.
It was a load of lies. Of cause it was, but to a lonely schizophrenic, who was desperate for any kind of love or appreciation from someone, it was easier to be suckered in. Alice became one of the most devoted members of the cult, in a few months after joining, she was now living with Harold. Under the impression she was his girlfriend, and completely unaware that he was using her and felt no real affection for her.
But eventually Alice told Harold about the voices. And, seeing a way to make it easier to look like he wasn’t making it up, he slowly convinced her that she was chosen by Yain, and that the Goddess was giving her words through Alice. The cult soon was set so she was the second most important person there, after Harold of cause, and called her “Angel Dust Alice” treating her like a cross between an Oracle and a fortune teller.
In reality she was just becoming more and more ill. With no one helping her, and everyone she talked too on a regular basis telling her that she should be hearing things and that she shouldn’t question it. She was slipping more and more into insanity. Whatever the voices told her, she would repeat and Harold would twist it until it sounded like what he wanted to be said. All the same, she was happy.
DURING APOCALYPSE: And then the world came to an end. The dead rose, the public was panicking and Harold himself was quickly starting to slip under the stress of trying to keep control of the cult. The members were asking how and why this was happening , was this Yains doing? All these questions and more, and he had no answer. Harold spent several days alone with Alice, locked up from the outside world as he told her to just ramble out what “Yain” was telling her until he found something useful. Eventually he just told her to stay out the way. He told his followers that this was a good thing, that Yain had started the plague to wipe out the none believers so that finally all that would be left was the faithful. Then they would all be able to go to utopia. And they believed it.
So all but Harold and Alice set out to gather all the supplies they could with the plan of barricading themselves into their place of worship until it was over. Many of the cult members never came back, consumed by the ever growing panic in the streets, and ever growing amount of undead. And of cause. Many of those that came back were bitten with no idea of what that meant.
A few days after they had barricaded themselves in, they were trying to get out. Alice was still being kept away from the rest of the cult in Harold’s privet office, and so she had managed to barricade the door and survive. She stayed there three days alone, and when she came out, everyone was dead, the zombies had wondered out of the building off to search for food, and Alice found Harold, torn to pieces.
It took her a long time to find the strength to leave, but when she did, she took with her the book that Harold had written and with the determination to start things again.
ROLEPLAY EXAMPLE:Alice sat upon the burned, twisted remains of a car. Her legs were crossed and her eyes were closed as she focused. The dark behind her eyelids let her focus let her listen to the silent voice that yelled at her. The voice was pounding in the back of her mind, digging her claws into Alice’s brain and tearing away at her mind with every word. And Alice let it, she welcomed it. The voices demanded things of her that she would carry out with pride. This was Yian. What she said was how things had to be. That was how the world worked.
(…Alice. ALICE! You’re all alone, there’s no one to care about you. There never was and never will be!)
Alice gave a soft whimper at that, just because Yian was a goddess, didn’t mean she was nice. Alice wished sometimes that she wasn’t able to hear her, that she was just normal. ‘you’ve never been normal.’ But that wasn’t possible and she knew that. Alice tried to focus, sometimes if she put all her energy into it she could make Yian tell her to stop insulting her and tell her what to do next.
Instead all she got was (BEHIND YOU) Alices eyes snapped open and she turned to see a rotten putrid infected woman staggering towards her. Its eyes were wide and its jaw was stretched into a gaping moan. (kill it stop it silence it make it suffer it hates you Alice it wants to hurt you)
Alice pulled the long knife from the sheath on her belt and smiled. “oh? Whats wrong? Are you hungry?” She cooed at the infected as she dropped from the car and approached it. “want to play a game? I’ll hold you down, and cut your head off.” She offered as it drew close. “then we’ll see how much of you I can cut away before you can no longer move your eyes! I’m getting really good.” It seemed from her testing that the brain stayed alive until it was damaged. So when she removed the brains of these things intact they were actually still wanting to eat people. Alice started giggling at the idea of a brain trying to chase her, just as the zombie reached out to grab her.
Still giggling, ignoring the danger of making too much sound, she kicked it in the chest, it was old and decayed and went down quickly. trying to get up, it was stopped when she put her boot on its throat. “still hungry? Here!” she started to stamp on its face until its jaw was smashed to pulp, and its throat was a broken worthless mess of flesh. Only when it could no longer move did she lean down and shove her blade through its eye socket.
PLANS: roam the world, meet people and try to convince/force people to help her rebuild her cult.
