Determined
If there is a goal in front of him, it doesn't matter what he has to do. Alex will make sure that it gets done. That might be one of the reason he is still alive today; making a promise to himself that he would not be chow to any of those things. If he makes a promise or gives his word, only a natural disaster (not even a zombie apocalypse) would stop him from keeping it. The doctor won't back down from a fight if he has to, nor will he allow something to happen that he believes is wrong.
Hard headed
When his mind is made up, its final. The guy is very hard to deal with when he has his mind set on a task. The point could be the smallest and most trivial thing but if he knows he is right, he will prove it. Often gets embarrassed when the male is called out in front of others and hates to be wrong about anything. Has a tendency to keep an argument going long after a resolution should have been reached.
Self-Confident
The young man might not like where he is at in life, but that doesn't mean that he's down on himself. Alexander radiates confidence in everything he does, down to his walk. He will say what he thinks and is not ashamed of anything that comes out of his mouth.Sometimes that self confidence can be confused with arrogance to those who do not know him very well.
Gentle
Who said that a firm touch is always needed? Sometimes kindness works better than being aggressive. When he isn't angry or irritated, the man is quite caring. Alex has always had a calming bedside manner and even in the apocalypse, that soothing nature is infectious to those around him. He is not the easiest to get to trust but once he has, he will be a shoulder to cry on or protector that one needs.
Barely Together
Despite all his merits. The good doctor is just a stones throw from loosing it himself. Everything he has ever known has been taking from him. The woman he loved and the small child he will never see grow up. Having never had time to fully morn their loss and allow his fractured mind to heal, Alex suffered from moments of paranoia and severe crippling headaches.

Friends and companions are the only way anyone can survive in times like these. So far Alex has been on his own, only lingering with small groups long enough to travel as far away from New York as he can. He needs all kinds of friends. He can be quite social and enjoys pleasant though intelligent conversations. Sometimes his use of humor as a defense mechanism and his confidence can come off as arrogant. The male also has a wall built up to protect himself from growing to close to anyone. Alex need companionship but is too afraid to pull them in closer than an arm's length. I'd like him to get one best friend that he can really open up to.

Sometimes the man just sticks his foot in his mouth. It's not uncommon for him to pick up at least one of two enemies or rivals. I wouldn't mind having at least one person that he can get into it with. Be it that they just rub each other the wrong way, maybe they said something about Alex's dead family or did something to offend.

This is a more complicated category. It's only been a few weeks since his wife and daughter died. Alex still is desperately in love with his wife...or at least the memory of her. That doesn't mean that a man doesn't have to satisfy urges from times to time. Slowly he is finally starting to let go. He will flirt with a pretty face but its harder to get him to allow the person in.Eventually I do want him to find a girl that can make him happy again and help repair some of the damage to his fractured mind. In the mean time, a few flings or one night stands are the only thing that only can expect from him.
