PS3 is for people that wanna play a bunch of small downloadable family friendly games. Xbox is for serious, competitive gamers.

I Think it depends on what your looking for.
Playstation 3 is a awesome entertainment system.
Xbox 360 is more of a Gaming system.
So Playstation focuses more on blue ray, graphics, demos music. Stuff like that. But As Cole said. Xbox focuses more on actual gaming. Better running games, and focusing on having safe live play. [saying that psn got hacked.]
So if your looking for all around entertainment system, I vote PS3. But if it's actual gaming, then Xbox360 is the way to go.

I dunno I play a lot of games and the ps3 has been fine for me. My family is big on ps3 and we have always liked sony playstation. I have had no issues playing games on the ps3. With me it was get a ps3 or an xbox. The blu ray player helped me choose ps3 and I am glad I did.

Well for me its all xbox, I started on PS1 when it was the only gaming console back in the day and PC. Pretty fun but when Xbox came out it was like a step up from everything PS could ever be. Then XBL hit and man it was epic, no more hackers no more people modding systems to give them a edge over people it was all pure skill for gaming online now. I jumped on the chance and dove in deep. Then 360 came out and I was in heaven, a online system that could be used for just about all your entertainment needs with still the most epic online gaming service, yeah you had to pay for it but your paying into a service that prides it self on streaming the best experience to you.
Sony on the other hand is Free for online gaming which is horrible for a gaming console. I have had a ps3 in the past from a roomie and playing it online we had to turn off every WIFI device in the house for the ps3 to semi not lag. It was the most shitty experience I had with a ps3. I was better off playing solo gaming and just turning off the wifi setting for the ps3. And it wasnt the internet or the router it was practically top of the line back then. So for me it was xbox all the way, best online gaming you can get besides a PC along with all your entertainment needs netflix, hulu, crackle, voodoo, ESPN showing live football or basketball games right from your xbox no cable company needed! etc. To top it off the kinect is the greatest invention of all time no controllers just you and a buddy dukeing it out or competitive bowling. No blocky wand you have to hold or wii mote you have in your hand you shake around and look like your wacking off when playing Mario party and shaking the paint can.. lol
And nothing is more awesome then walking in front of your Kinect and it auto signs you in and even welcomes you! Use your body to navigate thought the xbox or even just your voice. Play skyrim and shout the actual shouts instead of clicking buttons. Play mass effect 3 and issue voice commands to your party. Something the PS3 will never be able to do, really the PS3 has graphics and Blue ray. I would rather sacrifice a small amount of graphics and a blue ray player for a way better online and customer experience with cool gadgets like the kinect. PS3 users always say they have better graphics and they do the xbox doesn't have a top of the line graphics card like the PS3. For me it will always be xbox. They are adding new things to it like crazy i mean i can even use my W7P and control my xbox, stream music from it to my phone or vice versa. It all around a more enjoyable experience for me.

I wasn't going to say it Keeble....But you forced my hand once again. You get what you pay for. Pay for online play: You get to play online with friends as much as you want. Don't pay for online: The entire network gets hacked and everyone's credit card info is available and the network gets shut down for a certain time. You make the choice. But if it's a matter of keeping strangers away from my already small wallet. I can pay some money ever few months. |
