A deep breath fell from her lips as she let it out, blue eyes wandering about as she tried to gain her bearings. It was too much to actually get her head around things. The world was literally going to hell, like literally, the dead was rising, and they were walking around trying to kill everyone. People were falling and joining them, loved ones….god loved ones. She could still remember the look in her father’s face as she pulled the trigger. She could still remember the shit around the house. Her sister and mother dead on the floor. A shudder shot through her body and she let out a deep breath as she clenched her eyes closed. She needed the memories to stop, BUT they wouldn’t. they were there always thick and fast no matter what she tried to do.
What she needed to do was to get the hell out of Detroit. Detroit was too dangerous. A main city, and it was filled with thousands of humans….or what was humans anyway. Now hey were the infected and they were everywhere. She had gotten from the local police station back to her home and now she needed to get from her home to the interstate, she just needed to get out. She had two hand guns on her, and a small back pack of clothing, she had no idea what she was going to need. Nor how she was going to get there, with thousands of infected outside of her door, leaving the door was damn well suicidal.
Heaving in a deep breath she pressed her back against an alleyway. It was pretty empty, but not empty enough, eyeing the infected that came ambling into the alleyway she quickly ducked behind a dustbin, pressing her back against it. She had seen what those things could do, and she didn’t want to be anywhere near them. Heaving in a trembling breath she let it out slowly. The shuffled footsteps came closer to her and she acted quickly, she came up with her knife, thrusting it straight through his head., before quickly falling against the alleyway wall. Closing her eyes she breathed out quickly, her ees snapping open as more steps touched her ears, twisting around she eyed the infected and muttered a curse, firing her weapon was going to cause more trouble than good.
