He has muscles, as he does work out a few times a week, but they aren't noticeable under his clothes. He has black hair that he has short, and spiked. He sometimes has a beard, but not often. He has grayish-blue eyes that seem to sparkle when he smiles. Connor likes to wear plain jeans, a t-shirt, and sneakers as well as a button up over shirt. He is extremely casual. He does wear suits a lot though, most of the time when he is working. He likes dark colors, and his favorite color is blue.
PERSONALITY:
Clumsy - Connor is very clumsy, and often trips over anything in front of him, but more commonly, his own two feet. He bumps into things a lot, and drops things a lot. There isn't a certain reason why he is clumsy, but things like Women, Nervousness, and Fear seem to trigger it more.
Charming - Connor has a very charming personality. He always smiles when he talks to people, and likes to keep the conversation going. He is also very friendly, and isn't judgmental. He makes friends easily.
Intelligent - Connor is very smart. He's not ridiculously smart though. He didn't go to any fancy school or anything like that. But he is very good at figuring things out. Also, he is very good with computers, or so he likes to think.
Criminal Dislike - Connor's main dislike is criminals. He has been a cop/detective for many years, and has had to deal with many criminals. He simply hates them. He tends to get a bit rough with them, and he will seem like a complete asshole when dealing with them. Since the zombie attack his criminal dislike had turned into zombie dislike.

HISTORY BEFORE: Connor was born to Carol Hogan, and Samuel Hogan. They were both 22 when they had him. His father was a cop, and his mother was a nurse. They had pretty good money. Connor went to a regular school, and grew up as a normal child in Detroit. He had no other siblings, and had the normal amount of pets. He did have friends, and hobbies but his main thing was learning about cops. Since his father had been a cop, Connor became interested in it, and wanted to be one since he was a kid. When Connor was 18, he joined the force, and was accepted.
When Connor was 23, he married a woman, Kelly, he fell in love with. They had known each other since middle school, and had always been friends, and had always liked each other. The day after the wedding Connor’s father died in the line of duty. Connor and his father had been pretty close especially after Connor had become a cop.
Connor soon moved up the ranks as the years past, and when he turned 30 he decided to become a detective. There was much more work he could do as a detective. And he soon found that he really enjoyed being a detective. He was pretty intelligent which helped him to solve his cases. He was also able to have more time with his wife, which was what she wanted.
Connor and Kelly were married for 9 years when he found out she had been cheating on him. He caught her in their bed, with another man. He was willing to forgive and forget, but she wanted to forget him entirely, so she left him. They never did have a kid, but had always talked about it.
It was hard for Connor to deal with everything that was going on, but he promised himself not to give up on Kelly. He was going to continue to try to get her back even if it meant him quitting his job since she hated it so much.
DURING APOCALYPSE: Connor was at the police station when the outbreak started. The day had started out completely normal for him. He got up at his normal time, had some coffee and toast then took a shower and headed out. He walked into his office at the station at exactly 7 am. He began by drinking some more coffee (he was on his fourth cup already), and started working on the paperwork that had piled up on his desk. That was the worst part of the job was all the paperwork that had to be filled out. Connor solved a lot of cases from murder cases, to disappearances so there was always a pile of paperwork to be sorted out.
At lunchtime break Connor took the time to get away from all the paperwork and walk across the street to a small diner that most of the detectives and cops went on their lunch break. He ordered his usual turkey sandwich with (surprise) more coffee. It did not take him long to eat, it never did. He then walked across the street back to the station not noticing anything different going on even though it was unusually quiet in the area. Back at the station everybody was just as busy as usual running around trying to get things done. Connor hid in his office again to do more paperwork. He had just sat down at his desk when he was interrupted by a knock on the door. It was another officer telling him that there was a situation a few blocks from the station where a man was terrorizing a group of people. They seemed to be limited on officers because the day had been busy and all the other officers were off doing something else. Connor did not mind jumping up to deal with a criminal. It would give him a chance to get outside again. Staying in his office for more than a few hours made him want to spend some time outside.
When Connor got to the situation he could see that the man was terrorizing people, but it was not because he had a gun or even a knife. He was simply just running around attacking people. At first Connor did not realize how bad the situation was. He figured it was just a person on drugs running around smacking people. When he got out of his car and got a better look at the man he could see it was much more than that. He was actually biting people to the point of bleeding. Connor had immediately took his gun out and called the station letting them know the situation was pretty severe and to send backup.
As a cop Connor had dealt with a lot of criminals on the street. As a detective he mostly stayed in his office, or investigated other people’s houses, etc. after a murder or disappearance. It had been a while since Connor had to deal with a crazy person out on the street, and he really needed backup, but could not wait for it. Connor gave the normal warnings of ‘this is the police put your hands up where I can see them’ and ‘put down your weapon (even though the man did not seem to have a weapon)’. Neither did any good so Connor slowly approached the man with his gun held in his hands pointing at the man. He gave some more warnings, but when the man went to attack another person Connor was forced to shoot him. Connor did not like to shoot to kill so he had aimed at the man’s legs to try and slow him down. It did not seem to do any good as the man continued at the same pace towards the crowed of people. Connor shot the man in the leg again with no luck. He then shot the man in the stomach knowing that it would slow him down. Surprisingly that did not work either. After some cussing Connor finally aimed for the head. He took a look around to see if he could spot any other cops around. When he did not see anyone he took aim at the man’s head again, and shot. The man immediately went down.
Connor went back to his car and called in for an ambulance. He then went to check to see who was hurt and how severe they were hurt. The man seemed to be dead. It actually looked like he had been dead for a while. His face was pale and bloody and Connor could see the bullet holes where he had shot the man. A closer inspection showed that the man’s fingernails were all torn like he had been tearing at something. It also looked like one of his legs had been broken before Connor arrived at the scene.
The crowd of people was no longer there. The only people that were there were the wounded ones. Connor did not know why the people had suddenly disappeared, but he could not worry about that with wounded all over the place. He began checking the bodies. It seemed that three of the people were already dead. Another one was unconscious, and the fourth was hurt, babbling, but alive. They spoke of people rising from the dead. Connor took off his jacket and pressed it against the babbling man’s jacket where it was wounded. He put pressure on it and looked around trying to spot any police officers.
ROLEPLAY EXAMPLE:
Scott could not believe his ears when he had heard on a radio in an abandoned gas station that there were actually normal people alive amongst the crazy people. The radio had said that a certain mall (the one that Scott was currently crouching in front of) had become a safe zone for survivors. Scott had always been a loner, but after living by himself for so long and only seeing people that would rather eat him than talk to him, he really wanted the company of other normal people. It had taken him a little while to find and to get to the mall that had been posted on the radio, but eventually he found it.
When Scott walked up to the mall it really did not look like much. It looked like an average American mall, but he knew the inside probably looked a lot better than the outside. Especially since the outside had a bunch of crazy people wandering around, and the inside supposedly had a bunch of normal people. Scott was sure there were a bunch of useful supplies inside as well. He was very limited on supplies, especially food and water, and he was pretty hungry. He could not wait to get inside the mall and see if there was any edible food left.
Scott knew he would not be able to walk the path that lead to the front of the mall because there were too many crazy people around. That meant that he would have to find another way in. He wondered how anybody else had been able to get in, but he figured at times the crazy people might not have been hovering around the front of the mall. Scott currently was crouched behind a trash can, and it smelled pretty bad so he decided to just take a chance and try to run to the side of the mall and find a way to get in from there. Scott took one quick look around, found that the left side of the mall had less crazy people around it, and ran as fast as he could to the left side of the mall. He luckily was able to make it without any crazy people noticing him.
Now that he was right beside the mall he just had to find a way to get in. There was a door, but when Scott tried to open the door, it did not budge. "Ah." Scott said as he looked around at the side of the mall trying to find another way to get in. He was finally able to find a window that looked big enough for Scott to fit through. It was located higher than Scott would like, but he knew he would be able to find a way to get to it. He took a quick look around and found a trash can close by. He picked it up and brought it to the window, sitting it upright. "Alright" Scott said to himself as he climbed on top of the trash can. It was not easy, but he was able to pull himself on top of the trash can and to the window. Luck seemed to be on his side because the window was actually cracked a little. Scott was able to pull the window up so he had enough room to squeeze inside.
The window was not as big as Scott would have liked (so it was not the perfect window in Scott's eyes), but he knew he would be able to squeeze through if he tried. He just hoped he would be able to squeeze through before any crazy people noticed him. Scott started to pull himself through, and about halfway realized getting through the window was not as easy as he thought it would be. He had a hard time pushing himself through, but he was finally able to do it. He landed on the floor with a crash, as well as the trashcan being knocked down and making a loud banging noise as it landed. A noise that Scott had not noticed as he was focused on picking himself up and searching his surroundings. He took out his combat knife and held it in front of him. He was in what looked like a small office. One of the things Scott noticed right off was a flashlight lying on a desk. He picked it up, checked that it worked, and held it in his left hand. There was a door that led out of the office, and Scott turned the handle hoping it would turn. The door opened without any problems, and Scott sighed in relief. So with the combat knife held in front of him in one hand, and the working flashlight in the other, Scott walked out of the small room and into an even bigger room that looked like it actually belonged in a mall.
Scott began walking around shining the flashlight around as the place was pretty dark. He came across the bathrooms and he realized that the bathroom should be the first thing he did, finding survivors should be the second. Scott walked into the men’s bathroom and with just a quick look around he immediately backed away. The men’s bathroom was a mess with blood everywhere. Scott was used to seeing blood, but not like that. With some hesitation he pushed himself to go into the women’s bathroom. Scott walked into one of the stalls not even thinking to close the door behind him. He figured the chances of someone actually using the bathroom were pretty slim, even with there being survivors in the mall. It was a pretty big mall but so far Scott had not seen anyone else.

PLANS: He is probably just going to search for his ex-wife to see if she is still alive, and if so he is probably going to do whatever he can to win her back.
