Yeah if they catch any sites that have anything mature then the owner of the site will get in trouble. The rule has always been pg 13 but they just recently are making sure it stays that way. I had something on one of my sites that was mature and when they just started to make sure sites were pg13 they let me know I had to take it off. The site was inactive but I took it off anyways.

i see, fair enough. raises the question of why anyone uses proboards if they're assholes, but what the hoo-ha. err. sorry, i have found i always react badly to being told not to do things. i'm sure they are very nicce assholes once you get to know them  |

Lol. Yeah nobody was happy when they decided to enforce the pg13 rule. It is hard to have certain sites that is only rated pg13, but most people just go along with it. I believe Invisionfree allows more mature content. At least I have seen many sites of invisionfree that is all mature. I say if you want to do some mature rping try getting some people together and do it through chat or something. I like proboards better than invisionfree even with the pg13 rule because for me it is easier to use. I think it is also just more popular than invisionfree that is why a lot of people use it.

wait who owns the site? because i might just ask them if they care. Besides all that really happens is:
mature stuff is posted
proboards doesn't notice.
but if they do all that happens is:
they complain.
mature stuff is removed.
we all move on with our lives.
it's only illegal when you get caught, and there is NO ONE going through every single site ever on proboards that checks each post for mature stuff, that would be insane, inpractical, impossible and something else begining with I. I know i might be making a big deal out of this, but banning mature stuff is impractical in the setting. because then it would loose all realism. where does it end? blood replaced with rainbows spraying out?
really all i'm saying is proboards is not a 1984 style oppressive goverment watching everything that happens. and if i'm wrong? then nothing happens other then the stuff gets removed. so what exactly is the problem? if anyone who is too young is on a zombie role playing site and sees this then its the parents fault not ours XD

I used to own a site with proboards and mine was based off the show Spartacus which was tons of sex and violence. We hadn't gotten to the sex part was all violence like I had a way for attacks where hit points were randomly generated so that if I attacked HBB I would get a random number and then he would attack me get a random number and our health would go down accordingly all randomly generated with a code. Pretty bad ass.
Proboards was pretty much fine with it. I think it's the sex and language there more worried about though people curse all the time. I think they really don't like the F word.

Yeah it really does not matter if you will get caught or not. It is against the rules so you probably should do mature stuff elsewhere. And as Max posts on proboards support to advertise the site I am sure a proboards moderator does check it out. And she would get warnings if caught but it would get very serious, her banned from proboards and the site deleted if the mature stuff continued. It is rated pg13 for a reason. I just don't want Max to get in trouble for something the members are doing. I know it sucks, trust me I owned a prison rp that I had to keep pg13, but still they are getting pretty harsh with that rule now.
