i had an idea, not sure if anyone will go for it, but here goes:
what about if some of us work together to create new charcters to make up a small evil cult? (for there are no good cults) have the members be completly insane and a threat to all the characters, like believing they need human sacrifices to end the plague or something else whih would make them want to hurt people.

well the full idea i had was when i was concidering making a complete nut job as a second guy, and i thought how awesome/creepy it would be to have a group of humans going around trying to kill the other survivers.
So you know, if we could set up: a leader, a code, a goal, some kind of deity they worship and maybe some other stuff, i think it could be a barrel of laughs XD

Alright HBB you have done it again, you and your awesome brain are fabulous. First thing I got to point out 
Next on the list- this is great for so many reasons, adding more struggle and depth to the site is gonna be awesome, I see our good guys banding together to try to go against this some time, or possibly save some sacrifices. I love it.
What kind of characters would the cult be casting? Such as are they all crazy... Spence had an awesome idea about her new charrie joining the cult because of the potential for power. (love btw) I'm not to good about playing a bad guy but I could play a clingy needy camp tag along? Not sure if this helps but you're all so talented it will probably make up for mine a thousand percent xP |

i don't know if you guys have ever seen the anime "Highschool of the dead." it's about a bunch of teens in a zombie apoc. and it has the most terrifying cult ever. we shouldn't do it the way they did because it would be boring for all but one of the players, but that's where i got the idea from.
if you want to know, the cult is made up of about ten highschool students that a REALLY sick and twisted Teacher saves when the dead rose, he then procedes to slowly drive them all insane in such a way they are practicly his mindless slaves. it's desturbing as hell to watch, and the main characters do everything they can to stop it. But yeah that's what made me think of the suggestion.
I agree that Spence's idea be a good one. it would make things interesting if very few of the cult actually believe it and are there out of greed/selfishness/(Max's idea)fear of being alone/just plain being evil and wanting to hurt people. just my thought but it would make tem a hell of a lot more unpredictable when you can't be sure if the cultest is a real life Leather face, or just someone with nowhere else to go.

And I love the idea. Like you said being afraid of being alone or being killed cuz you know too much; Greed and I think that my character will be hopelessly in love (cuz I never played this role before and I'm thinking something along the lines of Bellatrix Lestrange.) with the leader. She'll do anything and think he walks on water. So he'll be like' go kill that baby', and she's like 'Sure. Should I torture it?' Even though he may treat her like dirt she's dedicated.
or is that too obvious?

Act helpless, or promise them safety and then lead unsuspecting survivors to their doom? I'd go a lot more into detail when doing to actual app, just wanted to see what you guys thought so far? |
