BELLATRIXX, BLACK
PLAYED BY : Hailee Steinfeld
THE CHARACTER
FULL NAME: Bellatrixx Elizabeth Black
NICK NAMES: Bella
PREFERRED NAME: Bella, Bellatrixx
AGE: 17
GENDER: Female
OCCUPATION: High school student/Starting model
HOME REGION: Southwest
PREFERRED WEAPONS: Pistol
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Bella is a petite girl. She weighs in at only 108 pounds, and stands about 5 feet 2 inches. As a starting model, she had to keep skinny, but healthy. She has an almost athletic build to her. While she isn't very muscular in the arms, she is in her legs, and can deliever a very powerful kick to an attacker.
She generally keeps her hair long and dyed black, though she'll often times let her natural color come through, which is a medium brown. Her eyes are a bright, green hazel. The brown is golden, and the green is brighter than the usual green, and takes up most of the coloring of her eyes. Usually, she wear black eyeliner around her eyes to make them pop, with either a light green, purple, blue, or white eyeshadow, and slightly thick mascara to make her lashes look longer and thicker.
Her skin is pale, and pretty much flawless, thanks to the skin care she recieved after becoming a model. She has some freckles here and there, and people often refer to them as "beauty marks" as they seem to be placed almost perfectly. However, for a girl with her looks, she dresses like what most would call "hipster" or "scene." She pronounces her words carefully, sounding out each letter, so long as the letter isn't silent. She walks like she knows she's beautiful, and she isn't wrong.
PERSONALITY: Bella has always been one to crack a joke at the oddest time, and can laugh at the simplest of things. She's almost always smiling, and can take someone from a frown to a smile in an instant. She loves to laugh, and loves it more when others laugh.
She's never been one to judge, as she's always be considered the "outcast." Until her rise to stardom in her modeling career, that is. While she can get along with almost anyone, she refused to be friends with those who had made fun of her in the past, as they only wanted to be her friend so they'd look "cool."
Bellatrixx is very intelligent. She can find out anything in the blink of an eye. She doesn't tolerate liars, or those who put others down. She also doesn't tolerate sarcasm directed at her, unless she absolutely deserves it. Bella is the type to blame herself for things, even though it's not always her fault, she still views it as her fault. She isn't one to blame others, and would much rather someone blame her than themselves.
She's a bit hard-headed and stubborn, and hates being told what to do. She feels that since she is human like everyone else, she should be respected as such, even by her elders. If one doesn't respect her, she doesn't respect them. She fearless and always determined, and she has more common sense than most people.

HISTORY BEFORE: Bellatrixx grew up during a rough time. Her parents had almost no money, and the only house they could afford was a two bedroom trailer on half an acre of land. Bella never really got the chance to be a child. She had to do what her mother did once she was about 6-years old, and that was hustle food from restuarants, and money from those willing to give. However, having a bad conscience meant that she didn't get far with this before confessing to the owners.
Once word spread to the police, her mother and father were arrested, and Bella spent a night in the Juvenile Detention Center. The day she was released, she was picked up by her grandparents. Living with them made life easier. She got to eat home cooked meals, and was even a child for once. She would play video games, and with her toys, and even enjoyed the company of the neighborhood children.
By the time she was in 9th grade, she knew what it was like to have an actual life away from all the bad stuff, though she'd still light up a joint every now and again, without her grandparents' knowing, of course. She's even steal some of her grandfather's tequila from under the sink sometimes, though she'd never take so much that it was noticeable some was missing.
During her Sophomore year, Bella decided to pursue the modeling career. Since she'd been working on getting her body fit months prior, she was accepted into the business almost immediately, despite how short she was, which at the time was only 5 feet flat. Everyone at the modeling agency loved her for her outgoing and fun-loving personality, and it soom became her second home. She even made a few friends there, until they were hired to larger modeling agencies.
Making mediocre grades thoroughout her entire time in high school meant that she was barely able to gradute, though she did. After getting her diploma, at the young age of 17, she spent all of her time worrying about her modeling career, especially since she'd been hired to a more known agency right around the block from her current modeling agency. After telling all her old employeers goodbye, she set off to start a new round of fame. Soon, she was featured in magazines, commercials, and even a sitcom. However, this luxury did not last long.
DURING APOCALYPSE: Everything had fallen perfectly into place. Her modeling career was off to a booming start, and she even participated in a commercial with Avril Lavigne, promoting clothing for HotTopic. Once she was noticed in the commercial, she went on to have her own sitcom. Life seemed to be looking up well.
However, while sitting at the recording studio, watching the midnight premier of her newest episode, something went wrong. The power went out, and everyone heard this rapid banging on the doors and walls. The producer opened one of the metal doors, only to be attacked and killed by one of the infected. As more flooded into the room, every ran in a panicked state. Bella, being as athletic as she was, used the many electronics, such as cameras and hanging lights, to climb onto a steel beam that was suspended over the floor where camera shots were taken.
She sat up there for hours before the undead slowly began to file out one by one. She was afraid to get down, even with only one or two in the large room, since watching the gory scene had caused her to sob quietly the entire time, and that had taken much of her energy. Not to mention the crash of the adrenaline rush. Once everyone filed out, she moved to her dressing room and opened her drawer to get her revolver. She then left the building to search for her grandparents, only to find them in the same mindless state. As she began to cry again, she pointed the gun at their heads and killed them both.
Luckily, she'd enjoyed horror movies growing up, and she knew enough about "zombies" to be able to take care of herself. While the sudden reality was overwhelming, she pushed it to the back of her mind, and set out to find anyone else that might still be alive, though she's had no luck thus far.
ROLEPLAY EXAMPLE:Something seemed to bother Lotto, though he didn't speak about it, and Violet didn't ask. She wasn't one to probe into someone's business. If the question was asked, there was always an answer. It could be one of three things: silence, "I don't want to talk about it," or the actual answer. But this seemed deeper than that, and Vi didn't want to bother Lotto with her questions, and she probably wouldn't like the answer he gave. It was almost like it was something he regretted deeply. Regrets like that were better left alone.
Violet smiled at Lotto when he spoke the first time. "Thanks." She said. It was good to hear that she wasn't alone, admittedly. It was really good. It made her feel better about the situation at hand, though the situation was still shitty. When he spoke again, hope struck Violet's eyes, but it vanished quickly. What if she's dead....? She thought to herself. Violet sighed. Maybe Rose was dead. While Violet could hope not all she wanted, there was no point in looking forward to seeing her best friend's face... At least, not her normal face.
Then, the sound of running water pierced the air. Violet looked up from the ground hopefully. Lotta had heard the sound, too, and was heading in the general direction. It was only about half a mile off course, and Lotto marked a tree for direction. It was something Violet would have never thought to do. Then again, she also wouldn't have come to the brook for anything, so there would have been no need. She watched Lotto clean his face with the water, and then mimicked him when he kept Blackjack from heading towards the water. She cleaned her wounds with the cold water, and breathed a sigh of relief when she sat back on her knees. As the water dripped from her chin, cheek, and bangs, she smiled. Though the water was cold, it was the best thing she'd felt in a while. Besides the heart beat of another person, of course.
When she stood, Blackjack leapt into the water, barking at the droplets that flew as his weight crashed into the liquid. He waded around, and seemed happy. The clear water now began to take on a rusty hue. Violet whistled, and Blackjack came to the edge of the brook where she was kneeling. She began using her hands to remove the rest of the blood from her beloved animal. Then, she saw it. The deep cut in his neck. Her hands froze, and she looked at Blackjack. He acted as if it wasn't even there. His tail wagging, tongue lolling from his mouth happily. With caution, she examined the wound, only to find that it wasn't that deep at all. Merely a little more than a scratch. She sighed with relief and took peroxide from her cloth back, and poured it over the wound. Blackjack didn't flinch, but instead, climbed from the water and shook his coat.
Violet then took alcohol from her bag and poured it over her hands. She wasn't about to risk the infection seeping into her pores, though the chances of that didn't seem likely. When she stood, she looped an arm through Lotto's, as if they'd been best friends for years. Honestly, she was afraid that if she didn't hold on to him, something bad was happening. While she hated fear and doubt, she couldn't help it. "Ready for Portland?" She asked, giving a sad smile.
PLANS: Bella isn't quite sure what she plans on doing at this point. All she really wants is to find someone who can travel with her, and be her companion.
