Welcome to Surviving the End!

Before we begin, we must discuss a few ground rules.

[li]Everyone is welcome, of every role playing level! For beginners all we request is that you reach the minimum word count of 300! If you cannot come up with that many words, try again later!

[/li][li]In Character Posting Etiquette- Be true to your character! If your character is tough and a loner, act like it, and if they're passive and shy allow them to run and hide. React to things not how your posting partner would want you to, but how your character would.

-Plot Planning- There's a board for this! If you're museless stop by and brainstorm with some other members.

-Back to word count, as mentioned above the post limit is 300 words. If you're struggling think of your character's surroundings, what they're seeing, hearing, doing, thinking etc. It's for your posting partners' benefit to give as much information as possible so they have something to work with.

-While in character, stay in character, if you must say something out of character say it at the end of you post and have it look like this (OOC: and then what ever you're going to say)

-All IC posts must be in third person, however diary posts can be in first.

[/li][li]Activity is HUGE! I much rather have seven to ten active members, than have forty, that never sign on. So, upon creating an account, you have seven days to create a character. If you are actively posting, aka in the OCC boards, you may have more time but will be spoken to. But if you're not logged in for seven days, the account will be deleted.

When you have a character - you have 14 days of grace. If you have not been spotted for fourteen days you will be emailed a reminder that the site exists, and on day 16, the account will be deleted, and characters will be moved to the denied board. If you chose to return after you can PM an admin to get your character out.

Of course this goes a little differently, for people who have more than one character. Just try to log them all in every once in awhile.

[/li][li]Grammar and Spell Check- Please proof read what you have written, we all make the occasional mistake but it should not be a constant issue.

[/li][li]Characters- You can have as many as you like! Create a new account for your new character. Just keep them active, and let me know which ones are yours so it can be recorded in the directory. The password is Gizmo! Also please keep all characters as people, not anime. Please provide an actor/actress for the face claim AFTER your application has been approved.

[/li][li]Money- You earn money for each in character post! What can you buy with it? Custom titles/colors, Display Name colors, and I'll always be taking suggestions as the site grows

[/li][li]No advertising anywhere but the Advertising Board.

[/li][li]Time is liquid here, meaning you can play in more than one place at the same time.

[/li][li]When picking a region your character originated from, that does not mean you are bound there! It's been three weeks, your character can be wherever you want them to.

[/li][li]As the site grows I'm sure there will be the need to add more, but for now, this is all I can think of, have fun, and welcome!
