Little seven year old, Sophia Tucker, was enjoying the nice Oaklahoma sun while playing hopscotch in the front yard. She had been home alone for a couple of hours, which was normal on a day like this. Sophia's father went to work while her brother was out hunting down zombies. One day, Sophia dreamt of joining her brother and finding all of the mean and grotesque zombies. About fifteen minutes later, Sophia heard the sound of a car's muffler coming from the distance beyond the hills near her father's house. She cleaned up her hopscotch game, ran inside to wash her hands so they were not dirty, and then she ran back outside to wait for either her brother or her father to come home. Sophia sat herself down on the edge of the front porch and waited patiently for the car that was in the distance to appear closer. Sophia knew very well the difference between her brother's car and her father's car. Her father's car was small and was gray with a red stripe across the middle of it, while Michael's car was more like a gigantic truck. As the car came closer to the house, Sophia noticed that it was her brotherMichael's car. Little Sophia got up onto her feet and jumped up and down, waving her hands in the air. "Michael! Michael! Michael! You're home! You're home!" Sophia had a little squeak within her high pitched voice. The squeak was normally only heard when Sophia became excited. Young Sophia ran as fast as she could to her brother's massive truck. She waited for Michael to roll down his window, so she could tell him how her day went and ask him how his was. This was little Sophia's favorite part of the day, seeing her older brother. |
